- A project can support multiple strategic outcomes, and one outcome can be linked to several projects.
- Name
- Description: A short, descriptive title of the strategic outcome.
- How to Fill: Use 2-5 words to summarize the outcome. Example: Increase Customer Retention.
- Short Description
- Description: A detailed explanation of what the strategic outcome aims to achieve.
- How to Fill: Provide a clear, concise description (2-3 sentences). Focus on the goal and why it’s important. Example: Improve the retention rate of monthly meal plan subscribers by offering loyalty incentives and better customer support.
- Ideally inside each item in the database you can create a more extensive description of the strategic outcome
- Metric/Measure
- Description: The quantifiable indicator you will use to measure progress.
- How to Fill: State what you will track and how it will be measured. Example: Percentage of customers renewing monthly subscriptions.
- If you have defined metrics to follow, you can change the field type to “Select” so the Strategic Outcomes follow this defined metrics or measures
- Target
- Description: The specific, measurable goal to be achieved.
- How to Fill: Clearly state the target you want to reach by the end date. Example: Achieve a 25% retention increase by Q1 2025.
- Start/End Date
- Description: The date when work toward the strategic outcome starts and the date that it ends.
- How to Fill: Enter the exact date (YYYY-MM-DD) when the project or activity begins and when it should end. Example: 2023-01-01.
- Status
- Description: The current state of the strategic outcome.
- How to Fill: Choose from the following options:
- Planned: Outcome is planned but not yet started.
- In Progress: Work toward the outcome is ongoing.
- Completed: Outcome has been reached or the timeframe has ended.
- Related Projects
- Description: The IDs of the projects linked to the strategic outcome.
- How to Fill: Input the project ID(s) that contribute to this outcome. If more than one project is involved, separate IDs by commas. Example: P001, P002.
- Owner
- Description: The person or team responsible for achieving the outcome.
- How to Fill: Provide the name or team responsible. Example: Customer Success Team or Operations Manager.
- Priority
- Description: The level of importance or urgency for this outcome.
- How to Fill: Select the priority level:
- Result at End Date
- Description: The final metric or measure achieved by the end date.
- How to Fill: Enter the actual result achieved. This field is filled after the end date. Example: 20% retention increase.
- Final Result
- Description: The evaluation of success based on the achieved result.
- How to Fill: Select from the following:
- Failed: The outcome was far from the target.
- Near: The result was close but didn’t meet the target.
- Succeed: The result met or exceeded the target.
- Last Updated
- Description: The last time the record was modified.
- How to Fill: This will be auto-populated by the system.
